When signing in through Google Authentication, you agree that:

  • The information provided (email, name, profile picture) is accurate.
  • You will not share, sell, or misuse your account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login session.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Use of the Service

InstantSpot provides:

  • Location-based discovery of nearby attractions
  • Maps, weather information, and place details
  • AI-generated guides using Google Gemini
  • Travel-related utilities and recommendations

You agree to use the Service only for personal and lawful purposes.

4. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

  1. Reverse-engineer, copy, or extract data from the Service.
  2. Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers).
  3. Bypass rate limits or security systems.
  4. Access or attempt to access restricted areas of our servers.
  5. Use the Service to track others without their consent.
  6. Interfere with or disrupt the Service or connected networks.

We reserve the right to block or terminate access for violating this section.

5. Location Services

The core features of InstantSpot require precise GPS location.

By using the Service, you consent to:

  • The temporary processing of your device's location
  • Using your coordinates to show nearby places
  • Sharing coordinates (without personal identity) with third-party maps/weather providers

You may disable location access through your device settings, but certain features will not function.

6. AI-Generated Content

InstantSpot uses Google Gemini to generate summaries, travel guides, and descriptions.

You understand and agree that:

  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies
  • It should be used for informational purposes only
  • It is not professional advice, historical verification, or safety guidance

We are not liable for decisions made based on AI content.

7. Third-Party Services

InstantSpot integrates with:

  • Google Firebase (authentication, hosting)
  • Google Analytics (analytics)
  • Geoapify (maps & place data)
  • Open-Meteo (weather)
  • Google Gemini (AI guides)
  • Vercel (backend hosting)

Use of InstantSpot implies acceptance of these third parties' separate terms and privacy policies.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, UI design, and code provided by InstantSpot are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works
  • Use our branding without written permission
  • Reproduce or reuse our API responses

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You misuse or attempt to harm the platform
  • We detect unusual, automated, or abusive activity

You may delete your account anytime within the app.

10. "As Is" Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy of maps, weather, or AI-generated content
  • Error-free operation
  • Continuous availability

Use the Service at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InstantSpot is not liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, or incidental damages
  • Travel decisions made using the app
  • Errors in map data, AI output, or weather data
  • Loss of data or unauthorized access

Your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold InstantSpot harmless from:

  • Claims arising from your misuse of the Service
  • Violations of these Terms
  • Actions performed using your account
